  • Paper includes 8-10 pages of text and use 5-10 sources (texts and lectures and contribute to the ongoing conversation about Communication Ethics in a summary or interpretative fashion. Distinction between summary and interpretative papers:
    • Summary papers involve an introductory level of inquiry.  The objective of a summary paper is to become familiar with literature about your topic of interest.
    • Interpretative papers develop and support a scholarly argument.



  • Each paper should begin by adhering to the following format:
    • First Paragraph – Summary
  • What is this piece and what is being done?
  •  Introduction header to the left
      • One paragraph review of thesis
      • One paragraph flow chart of your paper
      • One paragraph explanation of the significance to the study of communication



  •  Make sure that you work with the texts
